In Chimoio, Mozambique, the work at Centro Baruk (Centre of Blessing) is steadily advancing. It is the vision of Wanderley & Rosaria da Silva and the buildings were largely funded by CAM’s Centenary Fund, launched in 2015. At the Vocational Centre, Jefferson Buffi, a pastor and close friend, kindly ran a Crafts course this month, with 8 participants, teaching them to create beautiful jewellery out of recyclable materials like milk cartons, normally thrown away. Meanwhile, the Pre-school is nearing the end of its first year (it started in February). Wanderley said, ‘We thank God for what He has done in the lives of our 44 children… and we know there is so much more that He will do!’ They visit the children’s families regularly and have seen them impacted by the programme, which has a strong Christian foundation. We praise God for this Centre of Blessing!
