Carol Seymour and Ginny Perkins have been based in UK since the end of 2018, having been advised to leave Lubumbashi, DR Congo, during the uncertain time of presidential elections. They are keeping busy visiting friends and churches and sharing about their work. They had the opportunity to visit a friend in Denmark for 2 weeks in January (photo with all the bikes!) and have some ministry lined up in Belgium very soon.
Meanwhile, out in Congo their work carries on. At the Boma Prison in Likasi, the meeting room was much too small (photo). Last November, Carol and Ginny offered to help with funding a new shelter. They looked at the available site and one of the prisoners, a builder, soon started on the construction. Praise God, we hear that on 3rd March, the new prison shelter will be ‘inaugurated with much pomp and ceremony!’
