We have just shared news of senior worker Kazadi and his helpers going out from Lubumbashi (Congo) on trips with Bibles, literature, hospital supplies, etc. Pastor Mwambay is another faithful Congolese worker who has been travelling recently. He lives in Lubumbashi and works with Carol Seymour and Ginny Perkins in the media team, but also has a heart for helping needy people and internal refugees. (Sadly, there are still militia groups stirring up trouble in rural areas.) Back in June, we heard that Mwambay was helping feed about 40 displaced people at his house (staying on verandas and in makeshift shelters on the property). Then, in late July, he set off on a Relief trip, taking clothes and other aid to help people who had had to flee their villages and who had absolutely nothing. He saw such enormous needs that he plans another trip in September. Pray for him and his wife as they minister to these vulnerable and suffering people, showing the love of God in self-sacrificial service.
