Leaving Congo for a while – CAM’s missionaries in DR Congo have been advised by their Congolese colleagues and Church leaders to leave the country during the turbulent period of presidential elections, re-scheduled for Sunday 30 December.  These had already been postponed for two years and then were put off for another week after the chosen date of 23 December.  After a festive meal together and some very hasty preparations, Lloyd & Sandy Rowlands left on Weds 26th for Adelaide in Australia. Carol Seymour and Ginny Perkins flew out on Fri 28th to travel to UK.  Remember them at this time of sudden and unexpected temporary homecoming.  Pray for their Congolese work colleagues at the Living Waters Centre in Lubumbashi as they look after our missionaries’ homes and ministries.  Pray for the vast country of DR Congo during this uncertain and volatile time, that there may be a just and peaceful outcome, bringing hope of a better future for everyone.
