Psalm 127:1  Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain; unless the LORD protects the city, its watchmen stand guard in vain.

On Sunday 14 February 2021, as a result of inclement weather, the gable end wall fell down at the CAM office in Preston, UK.  The photos show the extent of the damage.  However, God’s hand of protection was truly miraculous.

Thankfully no-one was hurt.  If this had happened on another day of the week there would have been cars parked where the bricks fell.  Dave Garrard and his wife Ruth, who live above the office, were attending on-line church, so they were also protected as they could have been walking where the bricks fell.  Some bricks flew across the main road, but, remarkably, no cars were coming along this busy road at that exact time!  Praise God!

We are also thankful for Paul Stephenson, CAM Trustee and very able builder, who is pictured here working on the repairs.

The work at the office is vital for the success of the mission. The work can be demanding at times and most of it goes unseen. However it is no less important than the work that goes on out on the field.

Let’s continue to pray for all aspects of the work of the mission, that the name of Jesus will be lifted high, drawing many more precious souls into the Kingdom.
