Wanderley & Rosaria da Silva, CAM’s missionaries in Mozambique, are looking back with praise to God for all that has been achieved in Chimoio this year. On November 16th, courses at the Baruk (Blessings) Vocational Centre and classes at the New Hope pre-school will conclude until February 2020. The da Silvas will be going to America to see their daughter, visit churches and raise support.
A special party will be held for the pre-schoolers on Saturday 16 November, with cakes, popcorn and individual gifts. This school has been such a blessing and has impacted the local community in many ways, as the children take the Word of God home and talk about what they have learnt. Next year the school will expand and double the number of children from 40 to 80.
At Centro Baruk they plan to build 3 more rooms and expand the number of courses offered. They are currently completing computer and sewing courses. With the help of the sawmill, they are making tables and shelves for the work. The Centre is also used for putting on seminars for local pastors.
Wanderley & Rosaria serve the community in other ways too, including helping two widows with regular donations of food and clothing.
Praise God for all the blessings being enjoyed in this very needy community of Chimoio!
