UPDATE ON MOZAMBIQUE and the DA SILVAS – Wanderley & Rosaria da Silva have been in America for a long break since last November. They left their missionary base in Chimoio, Mozambique, after the 2nd Pre-school Graduation, and went to USA to stay with their daughter. Now they are preparing to return to sun-drenched Africa again, leaving the winter cold of America, flying out on Mon 10 Feb and arriving in Chimoio on Tues 11th. Their good team of teachers and helpers have already opened the Pre-school this week for the new school year. They are expecting to double last years’ numbers and cater for around 8o children – there is such a huge demand for places from the local community. Two new classrooms are being built to help accommodate the extra pupils.
‘New Hope’ Pre-school is a very happy and colourful place, situated on the Baruk (Blessings) Centre in Chimoio. The artwork seems exceptional and there are lots of bright colours everywhere – clothes, tables, chairs, lunch-boxes, water bottles etc. Wanderley & Rosaria forwarded on to us these photos that they have received of the new children enjoying their snacks and games. We pray that 2020 will see many more children and their families blessed and helped to know God better through the teaching and spiritual ministry of the Pre-school.
